Episode 87: I Stayed There: Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana

As you heard in Episode 86, I spoke about my stay at Impressive Premium Resort, Punta Cana. After leaving Impressive Premium, I took a taxi down the road to stay at Secrets Royal Beach, Punta Cana.

In this episode, I will be giving you the downlow on what to expect if you decide to stay at this AAA-rated All-Inclusive resort.

Let’s go:

[01:51] Who is this resort for?

This is an adults-only resort (18+), for those who want to have a vacation without having to worry about their kids (and especially other peoples’ kids).

The Secrets® brand makes me think of couples who want to experience luxury, romance, and a good time.

[03:02] The Vibe.

The vibe at this resort is definitely for the grown and sexy that enjoy luxury, style, class, romance, and fun, both with their own partners and other couples.

Although, I went there as a single person, I still had a good time.

As is on-brand with Secrets®, the lobby was elegant, the ambience was luxurious, and the essence was that of comfort and love.

I’ll be back here when I find myself a man.

[04:41] The Rooms.

Traveling to resorts as a travel agent, you don’t know which room you’ll be staying in until you get there.

The room I stayed in was the Junior Suite Private Pool.

This room has a private pool, and you best bet I was in that pool every single day. There are two double beds, a dining table, a minifridge, bathtub, jacuzzi, shower, and 24-hour room service.

The 24-hour room service is the most important part, as you know. If I want my french fries at 3am, I will get my french fries at 3am, and those resorts with limited-hour room service can’t do that for me.

If you want to be grown and sexy, this room is exactly what you need to book for your stay.

[08:44] The Property.

If you need something, you will find it on-site.

You could find me sipping on my Jack Daniels at the lobby bar.

If that’s not your jam, you could head to the casino, the spa, or the coffee shops, or you could elevate your stay with The Preferred Club (Secrets® equivalent of the Royalton® Diamond Club, which I just love).

The resort itself is huge, but you don’t need a golf cart to get around.

You can find entertainment daily and nightly, and you get discounts on Green Fees at the Punta Blanca Golf Course.

[11:18] The Dining.

There is no shortage of options for your dining needs, with 6 restaurants, a huge buffet, bars, and swim-up bars.

[11:49] Would I go back?

This resort is definitely EJTheTravelDiva Certified.

The only thing I would change about the experience – I would go with someone else to fully enjoy the couple’s experience of the resort.
